...Since we began Bonkers Beat 18 months ago, Angus' interest in music and dancing has flourished. Now that we have Lucy, she bops and sings along to the songs too and has enjoyed coming to the classes since she was born 12 months ago. ...Enrolling my little girl into "Shimmy Shakers"" for 1 to 2 year olds, which is one of the terrific programs offered at Bonkers, was one of the best things I could have done for her.

With this delightful introduction to music your children will learn to appreciate music, sing in groups and solo, develop rhythm and beat, express themselves creatively, develop confidence in their musical abilities and much more.
The Bonkers Beat music program combines traditional Russian teaching methods with the well-known concepts of Kodaly and Orff.
Activities such as games, group singing, movement and playing percussion instruments will provide an enjoyable way to learn music.

Profile
The program's director, Galina Zenin, is a qualified music and voice training teacher.
She has been a highly respected founder and director of children's choirs in Moscow. Galina brings into her program a wealth of European and Australian experience and a high level of professionalism. During the last twelve years in Australia she has worked with the Australian Children's Choir, the Australian Girls' Choir and has taught music from early childhood to VCE in a number of schools in Melbourne, including Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School, Xavier College and St. Leonard's College.
For the last five years, Galina held the position of Head of Junior Music at Korowa Anglican Girls' School in Glen Iris.
Galina has children of her own. She has a warm personality and an excellent rapport with young people.
...Galina's ebullient and vibrant personality was an added bonus to her Choral and Musical expertise. She has a particular love of choral music and is equally adept training young musicians of all ages. Her creative talents include the composition of highly successful original songs.

Bonkers Beat Music Concert 2008
Family and friends will be invited to share in their children's achievements by attending Bonkers Beat Music Concert.
This year our concert will be held at:
Caulfield Town Hall on 29 November.

Bonkers Beat® Music Concert 2007
Congratulations to all children on their wonderful achievements throughout the year and especially at our Bonkers Beat® Music Concert on Sunday 2 December, 2007.
All children aged from 12 month to 6 years enjoyed the rhythm and the beat of the jungle.
Sunday, 2 December 2007 from 4.30- 5.30pm with a party afterwards.
